FEBRUARY 2010 GENERAL MEETING MINUTES

DATE & TIME: FEBRUARY 3 RD @ 7 P. M.

LOCATION: OLD ERIE PUB & GRILLE-MIDDLETOWN , NY

President, Todd Jennings , greeted all in attendance.

CLUB BUSINESS &INFORMATION:

• The monthly Treasurer's Report was given by George Shurter.
• Valerie Kilcoin gave the Membership Report of 341 members.
• The deadline for Club clothing is February 15 th . Please contact Joanne Shurter with any orders at jshurter@hvc.rr.com .
• The ORC tent has made its debut at Winter Series race #2. Any members interested in taking the tent to any running events, please contact Brian Rivenburgh at brian.rivenburgh@gmail.com to sign tent out.
• Sweat Gazette will NOT go electronic in 2010 as previously discussed. However, it will go to three full issues per year, with one abbreviated issue.
• This year, track will be held at Monhagen Middle School on County Rte. 78 in Middletown .

UPCOMING EVENTS:

• The Herby Waterman ORC 5K Winter Series #4 on Sun., 2/21.
• Winter Party – Sat., 2/27 @ 7 p.m. @ Mable Moran's Restaurant. $15 for members and $20 for guests. RSVP to Amy Wapshare by 2/18, wapshare@frontiernet.net .
• Celebrate Life ½ Marathon – Sun., 3/14.
• HV15K – Sun., 4/11 – Practice Run dates are 3/7, 3/20, 4/3 at 9 a.m. @ Bella Luna Rest. Volunteers are needed for race day.

SHOUT OUTS / MEMBER ANNOUNCEMENTS:

• Club celebrated Herby & Joyce Waterman's 50 th Anniversary with Cake.
• Various club members shout outs and achievements were announced.

GUEST SPEAKER:

• Tonight's guest speaker was Dr. Art Donahue from Peak Performance Chiropractic in Chester , NY .

Next month's General Meeting will be Wed, 3/5 at Old Erie Pub & Grille. Dinner at 7 p.m. and meeting at 7:30 p.m.

Meeting was adjourned at 9:15 p.m.
