MARCH GENERAL MEETING MINUTES

DATE & TIME: 3/3/ 10 @ 7PM

LOCATION: OLD ERIE PUB & GRILL- MIDDLETOWN , NY

President, Todd Jennings , greeted all those in attendance.

CLUB BUSINESS & INFORMATION:

• Todd thanked Amy, Patty & Marge for all their work on club's Beach Party.
• Treasurer, George Shurter , gave monthly Treasurer's Report.
• Membership is down. Currently, there are 270 memberships. Only 146 out of 306 2009 members are renewed. Please send in renewals as soon as possible.
• You will still be able to sign up for the 2010 Grand Prix season up until the HV15K.
• Sweat Gazette is shipping in the next few days.
• 2010 Track Season, along with returning coach, Bill Schnedier , will resume on Wednesday, March 17 th at Monhagen Middle School on County Rte. 78 in Middletown .
• Wednesday night runs will continue in Chester , contact E.J. Szulwach at 469-4158 for more information.

UPCOMING EVENTS:

• HV15K – Sunday, April 11 th . Race begins at 9 AM . Walkers at 8 AM , and anyone who feels they need more than two hours or more will have an 8:30 AM start. Anyone interested in volunteering, please contact race directors, John Finnigan , jfinnigan@hvc.rr.com or Steve Brockett, sbrocket@courts.state.ny.us .

ORC 30 TH ANNIVERSARY

• Some ideas the club discussed at meeting were as follows:
  1. Possible picnic following Classic 10K at Davidge Park .
  2. Celebration at Summer Walk Party.
  3. Walk Party in the evening with a band and food.
  4. Tent & cake at Classic 10K
  5. At Classic 10K, have 30-Yr. Banner over Food Tent and Have Ed Estrada incorporate an announcement during Award Ceremony
  6. Do not celebrate during Classic and hold an ORC Hash followed by a Party.
  7. Dedicate a special Sweat Gazzette issue solely on 30 th Anniversary.

Meeting was adjourned at 9:15 PM . Next month's meeting will be Thursday 4/8 at Old Erie Pub & Grill. Food at 7 PM and Meeting at 7:30 PM .
