The Orange Runners Club's Bull Run is a long-standing event that has traditionally been coupled with the Orange County Senior Games. This has the unique affect of bringing together the traditional running community with the rich fabric of the senior community here in the Hudson Valley.

It is not the most competitive event in the area, but it does bring out a fair share of good runners, and puts some recreational runners into the mix to go along with them. But consequently, this race is sometimes won by someone unexpected. In 2007 for instance, the Overall male and female winners were ages 11 and 12, respectively.

The event's main purpose is to encourage running at all age groups, and to provide a special forum for senior runners to showcase their special talents. The Orange Runners Club invites all runners from the community to participate in this unique event.
