Proud participant in the Hudson Valley Grand Prix

2012 will feature the 4th annual edition of Hudson Valley 15K. This popular race brings runners from several different parts of the state to the Hudson Valley, and the race's reputation as perhaps the most scenic and challenging 15K in New York contributes to its ongoing popularity and success..

The HV15K is the brainchild of several members of the 7:19 Club of Blooming Grove, who frequently ran the roads around Tomahawk Lake and Hamptonburgh, and realized that there was a 9.3-mile route that would challenge even the most seasoned runners in the area.

Make no mistake, and listen to no one who says otherwise - this course has hills! A daunting one at mile 2, and at least two other "testers" further along the route. But the majority of the course is extremely picturesque, enough so that one might momentarily forget about the hills every once in a while. See training runs.

But when you finish this race, you'll be satisfied at having run well in the Hudson Valley's only 15K race!
