| The ORC Jingle Jog 7K has a long, rich history, combining the competitive aspects of a road race with the spirit of the holiday season. The current course was established in 2008, and traverses some of the most scenic landscape in all of Orange County. Within its sights and bounds are the Schunemunk Ridge, which bears the highest point of elevation in the county - 1664 ft. - and the breathtaking Moodna Viaduct (shown above) which is the highest and longest train trestle east of the Mississippi River. And at the footings of the trestle is land that was prominently featured in the George Clooney movie “Michael Clayton.” You will no doubt find this race a most enjoyable one regardless of your age or ability, and we're grateful for your choice to join us each year in this spirited event. |
Date: December 4, 2011 10:00 am (9:30 am early start) . Location: Loughran's Pub, Rte. 94, Salisbury Mills, NY Fees: Pre-registered: $20.00 ORC / SS / RRR members Awards: Top 3 overall, and in the following age groups Lunch served for all participants at Loughran's.
